ABOUT ME:

My name is Dr Ricardo Esplugas and I have produced all the images, flash animations, videos and text for Brightontuition.

I have been working in science teaching for more than 20 years, in Brazil , Spain and in the UK.

I have worked as an associate tutor and also as an IT trainer at Sussex University during 6 years.

I also have secondary school teaching experience, in both the UK and Brazil, I am now focusing on online learning and private tuition.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: I hold degrees in physics (University of Sao Paulo-Brazil) and Chemistry (Sussex University-Brighton-UK). I have also done a PGCE (post graduate certificate in education) and a PhD in chemical physics (both at Sussex University).

I have also done other teaching courses like the "Teacher and Further Education Teachers’ Certificate", City and Guilds 7307 and also the "Sussex Associate Tutors and Demonstrators Teacher Training Programme".

I am Spanish and I hold qualifications in English language like GCSE and also Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE).
